I am retired from over twenty-five years as a graphic designer, most of which were spent in hospital public relations and marketing. . . some with the local newspaper. As a graduate of The School of Visual Arts at Florida State University, I have always felt fortunate to have been able to have a career as an artist.
Photography has always been my true love (I bought my first camera with money I earned selling Christmas cards when I was 11). I managed to combine photography with my job, producing my own photographs for many of the publications I designed. I made the switch to digital photography about six years ago and sold all my old darkroom equipment. Digital photography has allowed me to combine my many years experience as a graphic designer with my photography.
I am a member of the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach and my work was selected for juried shows in 2007 and 2008. My work can be found in private, corporate and public collections including the City of Atlantic Beach Commission Chambers. My art can be seen at First Street Gallery in Neptune Beach.
I hope you enjoy my digital imagery and please feel free contact me with any questions or comments.
